In order to be on the Powertracer platform you’ll need to be on the Next Energy Member Plan

Nominated trades on Powertracer must be accepted by both parties

Community pool prices need to be set by the buyer and seller, the Powertracer algorithm will allocate the trades automatically

The Retail Providers’ normal rates and feed-in-tariffs will apply when there are no available trading partners for your excess solar energy

Fixed energy transportation (poles and wires charges) & regulated environmental charges will be added to all trades. These are standard costs that can't be avoided until the energy market rules change

Traded energy is bought/sold at the same time - i.e. electricity traded "on-the-spot"

Cactii has teamed up with Enosi to offer a unique community energy program. This has been three years in the making. The Enosi Powertracer software enables you to buy or sell excess solar generation to other members of the community at prices set by the members themselves. You can trade excess solar directly with someone you know or offer to sell your solar into the community trading pool using our Retail Partners electricity retail facilities.

The Powertracer platform goes beyond the traditional (and rapidly reducing) feed-in-tariff, enabling trades to be set up between users at prices they agree. Every 30 minutes the Powertracer software determines the volume of energy matched between buyers and sellers. The excess solar energy not traded directly, or bought by the community pool, is simply sold at standard feed-in rates.
